CSR Policy

New Consolidated Construction Company Limited (the “Company” or “NCCCL”) has identified Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as a strategic tool for sustainable growth.
For NCCCL, CSR means not only investment of funds for social activity but also a continuous integration of business processes with social processes.


In March, 2015 NCCCL constituted CSR Committee to steer our CSR agenda and guiding principles by taking into consideration the position of our stakeholders, the spirit of
trusteeship and the intention of enhancing social capital.

CSR Activities Undertaken by the Company:
i. FRIENDS OF TRIBALS SOCIETY (FTS):

Friends of Tribals Society (FTS) was established on January 15, 1989. It is registered as a Society under West Bengal Registration of Societies Act, 1961. Its registration number is S/62039 dated 06.06.1989. FTS is a non-profit organisation having its headquarters at Kolkata and it is having 36 Chapters in 35 places. The Organisation is dedicated to the upliftment of tribals. FTS runs One Teacher School (OTS) or Ekal Vidyalaya, which imparts non- formal primary education to children between 6 and 14 years of age. An OTS typically comprises 25 – 30 children of classes I to III. The duration of the classes is three hours. An Ekal Vidyalaya imparts five-fold education; primary education, health care education, development education, awareness education and sanskar education. As on March 31, 2021, FTS was running 102,552 Ekal Vidyalaya supporting basic education of 26,32,065 students.


FTS is registered under FCRA and is eligible to receive foreign donations. FTS is also registered with MCA as per the new CSR norms for taking CSR activities vide their Registration number is CSR00001898.


We are registered with Niti Aayog and our Unique ID no. is WB/2016/0110936. Friends of Tribals Society is registered as one of the implementing agencies (IA) of CSR projects by Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs.

ii. SNEHALAYA:

Snehalaya is a social charitable organization that rehabilitates Commercial Sex Workers, (CSW) and their children, and runs various programs that focus on AIDS awareness, rehabilitation of HlV Positives and anti-addiction. The main aim of Snehalaya is to provide shelter and education to the children of CSW and ensure their rehabilitation in the society. With this aim, Snehalaya has been serving society for last 20 years and now its operations extend to various educational facilities, health programs and vocational training courses that attempt to provide better future prospects of these children. Almost 2 decades ago, Snehalaya was stared with only 21 children but today, 112 children of Commercial Sex Workers (CSW) benefit from Snehalaya and enjoy high quality living, food and education at absolutely no cost to them or their parents.

Presently total numbers of 813 Children’s are educated and cultured from Snehalaya, out of which 550 Children’s have pursued higher education and are now well settled on their own.



iii. CANCER PATIENTS AID ASSOCIATION (CPAA):

Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA) is a non-profit organisation, established in 1969, that addresses cancer as a health problem through its distinctive philosophy of ‘Total Management of Cancer’. CPAA works side-by-side with the medical fraternity, focusing on activities encompassing Awareness, Early Detection, Support for treatment, Guidance and Counseling, Rehabilitation, Research Studies and Advocacy. The primary concern of CPAA is to meet the needs of poor cancer patients who do not have access nor can afford cancer treatment. CPAA reaches out to patients from all walks of life in every possible way. With five decades of experience in cancer management, CPAA now mentors other health care organisations across India, based on this holistic philosophy and has offices in Mumbai, New Delhi and Pune.


Mission Statement :

CPAA works alongside the medical fraternity, focusing on education, awareness, early detection, support to treatment, guidance, counseling, rehabilitation and research. While the primary concern is to meet the needs of poor cancer patients who otherwise would not be able to benefit from the best treatments that medical science has to offer, CPAA reaches out to patients from all walks of life in every possible way.


Vision of CPAA :
Total Management of Cancer

To be an all-encompassing cancer help agency that works towards patient care, aid and assistance, awareness, early detection, rehabilitation and advocacy. To understand and relate with the far-reaching impact cancer has on an individual’s life. To go beyond the malignancy and treatment of cancer on the medical front and help the individual cope with the economic, social and psychological shadows the disease may cast. To effect and move government policies to ensure a fair chance of treatment for every Indian citizen. To live out completely the holistic approach to treatment of cancer which CPAA calls the ‘Total Management of Cancer’ philosophy.


iv. ROTARY CLUB OF BOMBAY, WORLI (RCBW):

Rotary Club of Bombay Worli (RCBW) is 34 years established NGO and is a part of 110+ years Institution, where the legacy and motto is: "Service above Self“. RCBW Continues to provide health care for the underprivileged children, nutrition, education, infrastructure, building of toilets, school building, making available water by rainwater harvesting and check-dams. Supporting children, the future of our nation is one of the key areas of our focus. The Company has amongst all the activities have contributed for the Zugrewadi Project carried out by RCBW in the Karjat district of Maharashtra for providing basic education and other amenities approximately to 120 students. The objective of the Zugrewadi Project adoption is to transform the village from dependency and underdevelopment to sustainability and self sufficiency.
